During a recent romantic escapade at the Wynnstay Hotel in Oswestry, I was warmly welcomed into a charming blend of history and modern hospitality. Nestled conveniently near the town and surrounded by picturesque landscapes, the hotel served as the perfect base for exploring local treasures like Powys Castle. The beautifully appointed room, overlooking the lovely bowling green, provided all the comfort needed after a long day of adventures. While I appreciated the quality of the breakfast and the ambiance of the Pavilion Bar, I experienced some discrepancies in room amenities between my partner and myself, which was a bit surprising given our identical bookings. Nonetheless, the delightful staff made our stay memorable with their attentiveness and friendliness. The addition of spa facilities and the serene garden made it a perfect backdrop for capturing those special moments together. I look forward to returning next year for another lovely stay!
